As I chew this caramel,
I don’t think of anyone to relate it to

Rather than,
the stare that you gave me

Through the adjacent mirror.

As you had appeared to admire but reside,
Silently to my right

I knew this wouldn’t be the last time,
That I would see you in yet another waveless memory.
